The Horse Lord reigned supreme, a Canadian hype train derailment, and a terrible main event, UFC 215 was a roller-coaster of an event. The MMA Analysis broke down the craziness of the weekends PPV before breaking down UFC Fight Night 116 featuring possibly the biggest Caucasian hawg in the game, Luke Rockhold.
Another week with a short crew but the guys tried to make up for it with soccer, tennis, and mall talk… Luckily there was UFC Fight Night 115 to go over before the talk could turn to golf or something. The guys then broke down this weekends PPV card, UFC 215. DJ is set to break Anderson Silva’s title defense record and Nunes and Shevchenko will finally rematch… maybe.
Johnson/Borg Does Not Go The Distance (-140) – 1 Unit
The guys are back from an extended vacation with no UFC in past month. Supposedly there was a boxing match last weekend that the guys discussed as well as our 2nd favorite Jon Jones getting in trouble and the success of Dana White’s Contender Series. After all that UFC Fight Night 115 was broken down as best as possible.
Bryan Barberena by Decision (+435) – 0.5 Unit
Desmond Green by Decision (+400) – 0.5 Unit
Always looking to push the boundaries of MMA journalism, this week The MMA Analysis reaches never before seen heights. Fittingly, on the 151st episode of the show (possibly a made up number… or possibly one that never happened at all), we managed to snag an exclusive interview with Jon Jones following Jon Jones’ emphatic victory over Daniel Cormier at UFC 214.
Topics of conversation included: Gas station dick pills, (Potentially) being a piece of shit, and Mr. Jones being propositioned to fulfill a Pittsburgh couple’s cuckolding fantasy. Yeah.
The biggest card of the year is finally here. The guys previewed UFC 214 after going over the results from UFC on FOX 25 on the weekend. The third week of Dana White’s Contender Series was taking place during the recording of the podcast and the weird results were discussed.
Eric Shelton (+130)
Jimi Manuwa/Jon Jones (+122)
The guys are back to breakdown UFC on FOX 25 Weidman vs Gastelum, but first they talked about the heavyweight title fight that may or may not be happening for multiple reasons. They also discussed a couple of the recent exciting fights from Bellator and Dana White’s Contender Series before going over last week’s UFC card.
Villante TKO (+180)
The guys discussed the Moose leaving for Bellator, the premiere of Dana White’s Contender Series, and then recapped the two UFC events from last weekend. The violence machine Justin Gaethje UFC debut and the Middleweight Title fight highlighted those cards. Then previewed UFC Fight Night 113 featuring Gunnar Nelson vs the Pontoonboat taking place on Sunday.
Stevie Ray (-120)
