Short-staffed this week, Jay and New Shaun went over UFC 221 including YOLO’s devastating finish of Luke Rockhold, another consensus bet winner in Curtis Blaydes, and the impressive debut from the Last Stylebender. After that they broke down the thin card that is UFC Fight Night 126 headlined by Donald Cowboy Cerrone and Fancy Yancy Medeiros. Jay even debuted a new segment after breaking down the main event.

The MMA Analysis is back to go over last week’s card with Derek Brunson deciding to do the Thriller dance/Pissing on a Hydrant Remix (H/T to Wes) in the main event. The guys then discussed the next season of TUF culminating in Daniel Cormier trying to become the 2nd ever UFC fighter to simultaneously hold belts in two weight classes. After that UFC Fight Night 125: Machida vs Anders was broken down with a surprise appearance from Brad to preview the lacrosse season.

It was a sad weekend for Hawganalysis after Hawgannou failed to grab the Heavyweight Championship. Wes cried, it was bad. After discussing the main event from the weekend’s PPV, the Analysis discussed Daniel Cormier’s rank among all time greats. With last weekends fights out of the way, UFC on FOX 27 was previewed including the main event of Jacare Souza vs Derek Brunson.
